The BIG Art Auction Fundraiser

A great night out. An even greater cause.

Presented in partnership with the Rangiora Art Society, The BIG Art Auction Fundraiser brings together local creativity, exciting auctions, live music, delicious canapés and plenty of opening-night atmosphere – all while raising vital funds for youth mentoring in North Canterbury.

At the heart of the evening are live and silent fundraising auctions featuring artworks generously donated by Rangiora Art Society artists and others from across North Canterbury. Nathan Gilbert of Harcourts Four Seasons Realty will lead the live bidding from 7.00pm.

Guests will also enjoy exclusive first access to more than 700 original artworks in the Rangiora Art Society’s renowned Spring Exhibition before it opens to the public, along with a special showcase created by ‘Bigs’ and ‘Littles’ from the Big Brothers Big Sisters programme.

No art expertise – or bidding – required. Come for the cause, the company, the atmosphere or simply the chance to do something a little special.

Last year’s inaugural event raised an incredible $16,000. Every ticket purchased, raffle entered, bar purchase made and winning bid on donated auction artwork helps give a local child someone in their corner.
