Gather your friends, bring the whānau and join us for an evening of Christmas shopping, community spirit and festive cheer in Oxford.
Hosted by Experience Oxford / OPAC, A Very Oxford Christmas brings our local businesses and community together to celebrate the season. Explore Oxford’s shops, discover thoughtful gifts and enjoy a relaxed evening supporting the people and businesses that make our town special.
Christmas shopping with a local touch
Make a start on your Christmas list, find those final little extras or treat yourself while exploring our participating local businesses. Discover gifts, festive inspiration and shopping night specials, with opportunities to find something a little different for the people you love.
It’s a chance to take your time, enjoy our welcoming village atmosphere and shop close to home—or make an evening of visiting Oxford from further afield.
Discover the Oxford Christmas Market
For the first time, this year’s celebration will include a dedicated Oxford Christmas Market, giving home-based businesses and local vendors a space to share their products with our community and visitors.
Browse the stalls, meet the people behind the products and discover gifts and treasures for your Christmas celebrations. Whether you’re shopping for someone special or simply enjoying a wander, the market will add another festive stop to your evening.
The Christmas Market will be held beside the War Memorial in Pearson Park, next to FreshChoice. If the weather is unsuitable, the market will move indoors to Oxford Town Hall.
Festive fun for the whānau
There will also be festive fun and games for tamariki, bringing extra Christmas cheer for our younger visitors. Bring the family and enjoy an evening together as Oxford celebrates the season.
Whether you’re a local catching up with neighbours or a visitor discovering our town, we’d love you to be part of it.
