Situated in the heart of Kaiapoi in the Canterbury region, Dalkeith Boutique Bed & Breakfast boasts four boutique guest rooms located upstairs each with their own ensuite and comfortable beds. This grand iconic historic home was built in 1904 as a doctor’s residence and practice. It has been lovingly restored in keeping with its original era with the addition of some modern conveniences. There is a beautiful garden with plentiful roses and hydrangeas along with other plants which can be enjoyed as a view from your room, or you can take a wander through it.
It is only an easy 10-minute walk into the main shopping area of Kaiapoi which has some great cafes and a popular bar/restaurant overlooking the river. There are bus stops close to Dalkeith which can take you into Christchurch city or intercity, if you prefer not to drive. Local beaches are only a 5-minute drive away and there are many walking and cycling tracks nearby.
