It is with our great pleasure that we bring our latest production to the Rangiora stage, a play entitled Look at the View, a comedy penned by Rupert Dick, and directed by Claire Buckley
This play is just the everyday tale of a couple of couples, one of whom has left their lovely, rented flat they really liked, with a garden, and not one but two toilets, for a fourth-floor apartment in a lovely location, the right end of town. And the rent on this is cheap, almost unbelievably cheap. If it was not everything they wanted, it was certainly everything that Max wanted.
All is going well until Fiona, Max’s wife, confides to her friend Stella that she found a “burner” phone, taped to the bottom of a drawer. This discovery naturally puts a whole series of doubts upon her marriage, and her friends, and her friends’ relationships, and the accusations start to fly. But that is just the everyday folk stuff, that could happen in any marrage. Soon the “too good to be true” becomes, well, too good to be true.
The production runs from Saturday, 7th June, until Saturday 21st June, with matinees on the 14th and 21st, at the Rangiora Players Little Theatre.
