Victoria Park and High Street Rangiora
The annual Christmas Party in the Park brings the community together for an afternoon of live entertainment, music, food vendors, market stalls and family activities. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy something delicious, browse local stalls and soak up the atmosphere as Rangiora celebrates the festive season.
The celebrations continue with the Rangiora Toyota Santa Parade starting at 2pm, a highlight of the town’s annual calendar. The streets come alive with colourful floats, community groups, performers and plenty of Christmas characters, culminating in a very special appearance from Santa himself. Families line the parade route to enjoy the spectacle and cheer on the local organisations, businesses and groups who put so much creativity into their entries. Floats will also compete for the sought-after Our Town Rangiora Shield, with the winning entry earning the honour of displaying it for the year. 2025’s proud winner was Rangiora New Life School!
These much-loved events are made possible through longstanding community support. Rangiora Toyota has proudly sponsored the Santa Parade for more than 30 years, while McAlpines Mitre 10 MEGA Rangiora has supported Christmas Party in the Park for more than 15 years. Together with Rangiora Promotions, these partnerships help keep the town’s Christmas traditions thriving and bring festive joy to the community year after year.
Mark Sunday 29 November in your calendar — we look forward to celebrating Christmas with you in Rangiora!
