Pines Kairaki Community Hall -Dunns Ave Pines Beach
The Skeatles are back at the Pines Kairaki Community Hall for our big final show of 2026 — and we couldn’t be more excited. Last time was a sellout, and this Christmas session will be another foot stomping, family friendly skiffle celebration. Expect Beatles inspired skiffle, big smiles, and a band packed with top tier talent bringing the good vibes right to our coast.
The Skeatles carry the spirit of The Quarrymen, taking the Fab Four right back to their skiffle roots and performing the songs the Quarrymen “didn’t know they had to write”. They’ve even received warm wishes from members of John Lennon’s Original Quarrymen, encouraging them to “keep on skiffling!”.
This Christmas show features their full “skiffolicious” lineup:
• David Thorpe — Guitar, vocals, harmonica
• Paul Kean — Tea chest bass
• Dan Heatley — Drums
• JC Collins — Guitar, vocals
• Liam Collins — Banjo
• Gregory Shannahan — Washboard
A perfect way to wrap up the year with music, community, and a whole lot of fun.
