Two Wheels to Rangiora

The perfect itinerary for cycle lovers, starting in Waikuku and ending in Rangiora with plenty of smoothie stops along the way.

10am – The Office Café, Waikuku

Do yourself a favour and stop by The Office Café in Waikuku. Order a coffee and something delicious from the cabinet and sit in the courtyard of the old primary school.

11am – Bike from Waikuku to Rangiora

Head to Waikuku to take the Rakahuri Trail to Rangiora. This fun, grade 2 trail (18km return) runs alongside the Ashley/Rakahuri River. Discover areas of one-way riding, twists, turns and moguls.

1pm – Fools of Desire, Rangiora

Enjoy a well-deserved smoothie stop and lunch at your halfway point, and while you’re there it’s worth wandering down Conway Lane and Rangiora’s High Street for a spot of window shopping. Then, it’s time to journey back on the cycle trail to Waikuku, easy as!
