The Flaxmill was originally built in the early 1940s as part of the war effort to produce linen. At the time Ireland and Holland were under attack so there was a shortage of linen. After the completion of the war, it was decommissioned and was later used for grain and hay storage for a farm.

In 2010 Lin & Gerry Thomson converted The Flaxmill into the stunning venue that it is today. The venue can seat up to 100 guests, has a large commercial kitchen and provides the tables, chairs, plates, cutlery and glasses, so all you need is some food, beverages and your guests!
